3rd Grade is Learning About Animals

3^rd grade just finished Unit 1 of their reading curriculum and had a blast celebrating earlier this month. For three weeks they studied animal adaptation and how this helps them survive and adapt to their environments. They camouflaged their classroom, looked at real-life animal fur coverings, and read and found text evidence for their discoveries. Students were also tasked with creating their own animals with unique and special features to help them survive. Well done, 3rd grade!!
